Pump error or "fan overheating" — what to do?

Don't ignore pump messages: stop and restart, otherwise the bike may cut out while riding.

Common causes:

• dirt or moisture in the fan — wash, blow out, check that it spins
• the pump itself — new ones are sold by parts dealers

The fan impeller isn't serviced separately — the whole fan is replaced.
